Our constitutional rights are being stricken from us on multiple fronts. From women’s reproductive choices, to our voting rights. On October 4th the Supreme Court of the United States is reconvening and on their docket is Mississippi’s 15 week abortion ban currently in litigation. Texas just passed a 6 weeks abortion ban and Florida Representative Sabatini, along with others, vows to bring similar legislation to FL.
This is why Brevard NOW and Brevard Democrats have joined together to host the Space Coast FL Women’s March on Saturday 10/2/21 at Pineapple Park, 1587 Pineapple Ave. Melbourne FL 32935 starting @ 2pm. March to convene at 4 pm.
There will be many prominent women speakers at the park pavilion, followed by a sidewalk march across the Eau Gallie causeway.
The goal of this gathering is to defend women’s rights to control their reproductive choices, and to show support for the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement bill and For The People Act.
-Please bring signs.
-Due to our current Covid outbreak, we ask that you social distance and/or to please wear a mask if you’re able.
-Parking is available at the park, the library next door and on the street.
