Welcome to PearlCorp—where the coffee is terrible, the coworkers are surprisingly friendly, and the job description raises more questions than it answers.In Occupational Hazards, a group of employees spend their days chasing quotas, navigating office politics, and helping a skeptical new hire learn the ropes. But beneath the ordinary cubicles and corporate jargon lies a workplace unlike any other.
This darkly comic world premiere by Rob Evans explores the lengths people will go for success, security, and a really good benefits package.
Directed by Space 55's Artistic Director BJ Garrett, Occupational Hazards stars Sarafina Starling, Carrie Ellen Jones, Amy Garland, and Marcella Grassa and plays at Metropolitan Arts Institute April 10-26. Thursday, Friday, and Saturday performances begin at 7:30pm. Sunday matinees begin at 2:00pm. Tickets are $20.
