About this Event
Reimagine Our Economy with the California Doughnut Economics Coalition
Are you disappointed in the current economic system? Are you frustrated with the environmental and food injustice it creates? Join us for an introduction to Doughnut Economics, a way to reimagine economic systems that inspired its own global movement! Let’s reimagine what community-oriented and truly regenerative economic systems might look and feel like. You’ll learn about the recently created California Doughnut Snapshot and the ongoing efforts to create a doughnut snapshot for San José. Plus, you’ll get your hands in the soil, helping the Valley Verde community with W**d pulling, compost turning, and preparing garden beds for spring planting; you'll break bread and connect with others in our bioregion in a meaningful and inspiring way!
