OU SMTD faculty members Alta Boover Dantzler (mezzo-soprano) and Jacob ben Widmar (Broadway veteran) star in Souvenir, the hilarious and heartfelt true story of Florence Foster Jenkins, a wealthy eccentric convinced she’s a great soprano, and her accompanist Cosme McMoon. Together, they stumble through music toward an unlikely but enduring friendship.
Directed by Distinguished Professor Emerita Karen Sheridan, this one-night-only performance is a musical delight filled with laughter, heart, and charm.
