Join us for an indepth wine class and tasting in the private room at Dilworth! An expert guest speaker will guide us through each selection and share insight about the region, history, culture, and climate. The Southwest wine region of France, often referred to as the Midi, stretches from the Rhône Valley to the Spanish border along the sun-drenched Mediterranean coast. As one of the country’s largest and most diverse wine regions, it boasts a winemaking heritage that traces back to Roman times. Once known for mass production, the area has undergone an impressive revival, now producing a range of high-quality wines — from robust reds like Grenache and Syrah to crisp whites like Picpoul de Pinet and even the sparkling Crémant de Limoux, which some believe predates Champagne. With its warm climate, diverse soils, and forward-thinking winemakers, the Midi remains a vibrant and evolving part of France’s wine scene.
This is the third and final masterclass in our mini-series with Tyler Morgan. His extensive knowledge and passion for French wine continue to guide and inspire us throughout the journey.
