Southwest Metalfest 4

The Fourth Annual Southwest Metalfest is the Southwest’s premiere metal showcase taking place on Saturday August 22nd 2026 in Las Cruces New Mexico. The festival has featured over 30 regional metal acts in the first three years of its existence, and this year will be even better, as it will feature 18 bands from New Mexico, Texas, Arizona, and Colorado. SWMF is housed at the Grapevine Plaza / Picacho Peak Brewing Company on Picacho Avenue, as they have been long time supporters of the local music scene in Las Cruces. This will be an ALL AGE event and will be $10 at the door. Event t-shirts will be available, and there will be a guitar giveaway.
