Southside Market & Café is a 1,400 sq. ft. grocery and café designed to bring fresh food access, local vendor products, and a welcoming neighborhood gathering space to the South Side. As Chicago’s newest cooperative grocery, we are owned by our community and dedicated to building local wealth, health, and collective power.

The morning ceremony will include remarks, ribbon cutting, light refreshments, and opportunities to connect with community leaders, partners, and our co-op owners. We are excited to celebrate this milestone!
