Join us for a roundtrip “no rush” Sunday morning ride from Carolina Beach State Park’s Visitor’s Center, catching the Fort Fisher Ferry for our Southport brunch/ lunch at either Cafe Koa or Oliver’s.
Roll out” no later than 8:25am. This is approximately a 24 mile ride with a bunch of breaks in-between. You must RSVP yes or no for this ride due to making lunch arrangements.
Bring $4 dollars for a round trip ferry ride on your bike—it’s two dollars each way, per person.
You have the option to break away from the group and explore Southport on your own after brunch/lunch. If you choose that option, you’ll make your way back to Carolina Beach State Park via Google Maps’ bike route feature.
In the case of inclement weather, the host will update attendees on the Saturday before the ride.
Ride at your own risk! You must be comfortable road biking for this event. Must wear a helmet and have reflective bike lights to ride with the group. E-bikes are allowed.
