Many of you first knew us as The Tallow House. Now, we invite you to celebrate our next chapter: Southern Oaks, South Carolina’s Agricultural Skincare House, and the grand opening of our flagship House on King Street!
As first-generation farmers raising our family on Wadmalaw Island, we’ve built Southern Oaks with faith in the Lord and gratitude for all He has entrusted to our care. Through the things we create, we hope to connect people more closely to His creation, the land, and the hands behind every jar. Now, we’re bringing that story into the heart of Charleston, a House rooted in faith, farming, and community, where stepping inside feels a little like coming home.
Step inside and explore The Pasture, The Dairy, The Hive, and The Garden, the four corners that shape our House. Discover small-batch skincare featuring tallow, goat milk, honey, bee venom, and botanicals, alongside thoughtfully selected goods from local farms and makers. Meet the people behind every jar and experience how the working farm inspires everything we create.
Celebrate opening day with complimentary tallow samples, fresh bouquets available for purchase, and a special shirt pop-up with DENIM + THREADS. The first 25 purchasing customers will receive a complimentary Southern Oaks “Everything Bag,” and guests who purchase a shirt from the pop-up will enjoy 20% off Southern Oaks skincare products throughout the day.
