Southern Cross Up 2026

Southern Cross(X) Up is the largest and longest running fighting game tournament in New Zealand, with roots dating back to 2009 before officially becoming the event that it is today in 2011.
Southern Cross Up has been bringing together the best fighting game players from around New Zealand for many years; giving them the opportunity to show off their skills and talent.
Every fighting game player, fan and enthusiast has the opportunity to rise up and take the top spot as one of the countries best, thanks to the open bracket style of each tournament. From online rivals to offline friends, the beauty of competing is the mutual respect gained by both players and from the spectators in person and viewers watching along at home.
Across 3 days of competition, we will cheer for our favourites, boo the villains and crown champions, while making life long friends along the way.

Competitive Tournament Pass
Competitive Tournament Pass allows entrance to all tournaments (Main/Side/Community) as well as access to all gaming stations throughout the weekend.
Early Bird Pricing (May 22 - June 30) ($60)
Regular Pricing (July 1 - September 30) ($75)
Last Chance (October 1 - October 17) ($90)
Casual Entry Pass $40
Casual Pass allows entry into community tournaments only. They also have access to all casual gaming stations throughout the weekend.
ON-SITE SIGN UP FOR SOUTHERN CROSS UP 2026 IS AVAILABLE ON FRIDAY NIGHT FROM 7PM-9PM ONLY.
ON-SITE SIGN UPS ALLOW ACCESS TO SIDE AND COMMUNITY TOURNAMENTS ONLY.

*You will need a Competitor Pass to compete in any main/side tournaments being held at Southern Cross Up 2026
*You will need either a Competitor Pass or a casual pass to enter any Community tournaments and access any gaming setups at Southern Cross Up 2026.
