Southend Libraries Presents a special Pride Month event! 🏳️🌈Bisexuality can be the lesser-discussed letter in the LGBTQI+ spectrum, but dig a little deeper and you’ll find how this identity intersects with British history and contemporary life alike.
Luke Turner has long explored bisexuality in his writing: ‘Out Of The Woods’ examines sexuality, shame and our relationship with the natural world and ‘Men At War’ looks at the hidden histories of sexuality and masculinity from 1939 - 1945.
Join Luke for a wide-ranging discussion on the threads that connect these subjects this Pride Month.
