Southeast PA Cybersecurity Professional Meetup

Welcome to 2026! We are looking to host 4 total events this year on a roughly quarterly basis. We are thankful once again to our partners at Berks LaunchBox for hosting our meetup at their location downtown Reading.

We are excited to announce that our event will feature Zac Davis and Erkin Djindjiev of DomainGuard, delivering a combined talk and hands-on activity - Preventing and Detecting IDOR + Hands on Hacking with LogSnare

Abstract:

This presentation builds on a 2024 OWASP Philly talk where Zac explored Insecure Direct Object References (IDOR), one of the most common and impactful web application vulnerabilities (and his personal favorite to exploit).In this session, Zac will revisit real-world IDOR examples. Erkin then tags in, showing how DomainGuard has implemented both preventive and detective controls to protect its platform against these attacks. The talk will conclude with a hands-on CTF style exercise using LogSnare, an intentionally vulnerable web application designed to help participants practice identifying and exploiting IDOR flaws. ().

Speaker Bios:

Zac is a penetration tester, entrepreneur, and cybersecurity strategist with over 12 years of hands-on experience in offensive security and red teaming. He has led engagements across networks, cloud environments, physical targets, and applications, with a focus on advanced web application testing in recent years. Currently, Zac serves as Chief Revenue Officer at DomainGuard, where he applies his technical background to help organizations protect their brand and digital footprint across the surface web and dark web.Erkin has been working at the intersection of offensive security and software engineering for over a decade. The last 8 years have been focused solely on detection engineering and building novel monitoring solutions in the cyber-security space.

Currently, Erkin serves as the Founder at DomainGuard, where he built the first version of DomainGuard's external monitoring solution, and continues to operate as CEO.
