Southeast Michigan Vehicle Access Coalition Roundtable
About this Event
Southeast Michigan Vehicle Access Coalition Roundtable
Hosted by the Catch a Ride Network and United Way for Southeastern Michigan in partnership with Ford Philanthropy, this in-person and virtual convening will bring together public, private, nonprofit, and philanthropic partners committed to expanding access to reliable personal transportation across Southeast Michigan.
Reliable transportation remains one of the most significant barriers to employment, workforce development, education, healthcare access, and long-term economic stability. Across the region, organizations are leading innovative efforts to help residents access vehicle ownership, repair and maintenance services, short-term rental programs, and other mobility solutions that support greater independence and opportunity.
This roundtable is designed to create space for partners to:
- Share successful programs and emerging best practices
- Discuss common challenges and opportunities
- Explore ways to strengthen collaboration across sectors
- Identify opportunities to build a more coordinated regional approach to vehicle access
The afternoon will include facilitated roundtable discussions, breakout sessions, and group report-outs to capture key themes, promising practices, and potential next steps for advancing vehicle access solutions throughout Southeast Michigan.
Light snacks and refreshments will be provided.
