The SOUTHEAST ATLANTA Open House Tour is a free event designed to provide homebuyers helpful information to purchase a home with Invest Atlanta down payment incentives.

**The premiere new construction neighborhood nearby does not have space for additional parking or traffic, so we will take you there on a trolley that runs every 15-20 minutes from South Atlanta High School. Where is South Atlanta High School?

South Atlanta High School is located in Southeast Atlanta at 800 Hutchens Road SE Atlanta, GA 30354.

What are my parking/transportation options for getting to and from the event?

1. Plan to park at South Atlanta High School. Please follow instructions provided by the police officers who will be onsite to direct traffic. The Homebuyer Q & A will take place in the gymnasium.

2. At 10:00 am, hop on the Georgia Tech Trolley to tour the model home at a nearby, premiere new construction subdivision.

3. After visiting the premiere new construction subdivision, take the trolley back to the school . From there you can drive to visit the other subdivisions listed on the event map on your own.  

MARTA riders should take a north or south bound train to the Five Points Transit Station, take the #55 Bus for approximately 30 minutes to Hutchens Road & Katomarick Drive, walk about 6 minutes (0.3 miles) to South Atlanta High School.

Am I required to attend the Homebuyer Q & A to tour the homes?

No, the Homebuyer Q & A at 9:00 am is optional. You are welcome to attend the Q & A at 9:00 am, visit the tents and then tour the homes at 10:00 am; or simply arrive at 10:00 am to visit the tents and tour the homes only.

Where are the homes on the tour?

This open house tour features homes for sale in Orchard Knob, Norwood Manor and South River Gardens. Browns Mill Village is the premiere new construction neighborhood closest to the high school. Since Browns Mill Village does not have space for additional parking or traffic, we will take you there on a trolley. Please do not drive to this subdivision. The trolley will run every 15-20 minutes between South Atlanta High School and Browns Mill Village. Other available homes for sale are featured on the Event Map, and are located within 3 miles of the high school. Check-in at the Invest Atlanta Welcome Tent for an Event Map. How much are the homes on the tour?

You will find new construction homes, with 3+ bedrooms and 2+ bathrooms, from the high $200's to the high 300's.

What time does the event end?

The tents at the school will close at 1:00 pm. The trolley will leave the school for the last time at 12:30 pm.

What if it rains?

The Southeast Atlanta Open House Tour will occur, rain or shine, Our contingency plan for heavy rain includes moving our event partners inside the school. Please dress and prepare accordingly. Severe storms and/or lightening are causes to end the tour early. 

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

No, you don't have to bring your printed ticket to enter the event, but you may want to keep it handy for event information.

What else should I know about the event?

The first 200 attendees to arrive will receive a ticket for a complimentary hot dog from the Streatery Hot Dog cart, courtesy of our Sponsors (while supplies last.) Check your Event Bag for your ticket. Parents with children will receive tickets for complimentary frozen treats from King of Pops for the kids, while supplies last.
