About this Event
We're back for our fifth year, BIGGER, BETTER, and BRIGHTER than ever!
The South West Festival of Japan is a celebration of Japanese culture, art, food and history, located in the Sister City of Bunbury, WA.
Sample, experience and marvel at our huge range of talented South West artists, chefs and performers over the course of 8 days.

Each year, the SWFJ attracts people from all over WA, coming together to celebrate and get immersed in the fantastic culture of Japan.
Friday 9th: Opening Night
Saturday 10th: Matsuri Day
Including: performances, musicians, Taiko drumming, markets, food stalls and more!
Saturday 10th - Saturday 17th: Stamp Rally! Visit our participating stores in the CBD to collect a unique stamp to fill your stamp passport. Once completed, hand it into our BRAG Headquarters for the chance to win prizes!
Sunday 11th: Workshops, Japanese Car Day and more!
Monday 12th - Friday 16th: A series of Japanese inspired workshops, food tastings and events throughout the City of Bunbury.
Saturday 17th: Floating Lantern Festival, spinning cherry blossom workshops, kimonos, forest bathing and more!
