South Tucson Family Festival

The South Tucson Family Festival is a world-class , vibrant community gathering festival where diverse cultures and generations can come together to connect, celebrate, collaborate, and create. General admission is absolutely free for the public. We aim to capture a perfect reflection of the history and present changing narrative of the city of South Tucson, the Southern boundaries of the city of Tucson, and the people who live and work here in the Tucson metropolitan region.

From a petting zoo to robotics, from agriculture to art, from music to magic, the South Tucson Family Festival will be at the heart of what community collaboration defines for decades to come.

As a destination showcase, the organizers of the South Tucson Family Festival are deeply committed to serving as a steward of the community on behalf of the people of South Tucson and dedicated to

promoting the accomplishments and legacy of South Tucson as a thriving, beloved community.

The original South Tucson Street Festival "Norteno" has been serving the South Tucson community for decades. The South Tucson community has changed over the decades,

and the festival has taken a hit with COVID-19. The festival came back last year under new management by ATO Consulting which bolstered unprecedented success. The commitment was to present a free international music festival. When September rolls around in South Tucson everyone will get ready for the roar from the crowds, the smell of fresh food being prepared, southern Arizona's ultimate Car Show, and the sight of flashing lights from

the HUGH performance stage with national recording artists. The South Tucson Family Festival is one of the few places in the country where masses of music enthusiasts, foodies, families and culture lovers gather year after year to hear and experience this great authentic cross border tradition.
