Instructor Bio:

A seasoned leader in AI, data strategy, and technology commercialization, David Hendrawirawan empowers organizations, executives, and management teams to maximize their capacity for AI-driven innovation. With expertise spanning data analytics, information security, and privacy, he develops and executes digital offense and defense strategies to accelerate value realization.

Currently a Principal Advisor at Informatica, he advises enterprises on AI-ready data strategy, governance, and architecture. He teaches AI & Data Governance, Cybersecurity & Privacy at The University of Texas at Austin, and currently serving on the Board of Directors for Heat Transfer Research Incorporated (HTRI), a research and software firm serving global enterprises in energy, chemical, and sustainability sectors.

Previously, he held leadership roles at Deloitte, Dell, and Grant Thornton. An entrepreneur and investor in STEM education, he owns a coding academy focused on advancing AI, data, and cybersecurity literacy.
