The Featured Fighting Game Event of Louisiana Returns!It's been a long time coming. Have you missed us? Because we missed you! SLAM IS OFFICIALLY BACK!!!
After a bit of the hiatus after the pandemic hit in 2020 and uncertainty in the air, we are proud to announce that the premier fighting game event of Louisiana, SLAM has returned. Join us for our 5th official year of the SLAM tournament series! This marks our 5th officially ran event! Come join us for the growing party that is South Louisiana Major!
We are returning to our venue at the Double Tree by Hilton New Orleans Airport in Kenner, LA! Only 2 miles away from Louis Armstrong New Orleans International Airport (including a free shuttle service to the hotel) and 10 miles away from the heart of New Orleans! So we are in the perfect location for competitor, spectator and tourist alike!
We will reserve space for side events for Saturday and Sunday, so if anyone in the community is interested in running any side events for games not being ran officially at SLAM, reach out to us and we will see what can be done!

REGISTRATION PRICES
Normal Pre-Registration (Available until **March 1st, 2023**)
**$70** PLAYER BADGE/VENUE FEE
Late Pre-Registration (Available after Normal Reg closes until **April 2nd, 2023**)
**$80** PLAYER BADGE/VENUE FEE
This year we will only be doing On Site Reg on the night before the event (Friday, April 14th, 2023). On site reg will open at 6:00 pm and close at 11:00 pm. Once on-site reg closes, we will only be selling spectator badges on-site. This is to help ensure everything runs in a timely fashion the morning of the event!

(Available *ONLY* on **April 14th, 2023** onsite at venue!) **$90** PLAYER BADGE/VENUE FEE
**$10 ENTRY PER MAIN TOURNAMENT GAME**
**SPECTATOR BADGES ARE $35 ** (Will allow you to sign up for side events, but not main events.)
**All Pre-registration fees are NON REFUNDABLE**
HOTEL LODGING
The hotel we will be using for SLAM this year is the Double Tree by Hilton New Orleans Airport! Only 2 miles away from Louis Armstrong International Airport with a free 24-hour Airport Shuttle for easy travel! There are many dining options inside and in near proximity of the venue, from fast food to dine-in restaurants. The venue is also only a 20 minute drive away from the heart of New Orleans for anyone wanting to experience the city for themselves!
The rooms are $169.00 per night.
