South East Conservatives Conference Curry Club

I'm delighted to announce the return of what is now a very popular annual fixture, namely the South East Conservative Curry Club on the Sunday evening at conference. This year we have booked the highly recommended Indian restaurant, Banajee, next to the ICC so only a minute's walk from the secure zone and we have booked the whole restaurant so we will be exclusively amongst friends! This event is open to everyone with an interest in supporting the South East and is a great mix of members and activists, councillors, PCCs and MPs, everyone is most welcome.

This year to make things more orderly and to maximise enjoyment of the evening we have introduced a set menu with vegetarian/ vegan/ allergy options - please see the choices below. Each table will be given a tab and it will be to the table drinks service with the tab being settled by each table at the end of the evening.

We will have a series of guest speakers saying a few words throughout the evening including our Patron Mims Davies MP, Ben Spencer MP and James Sunderland MP, alongside Katy Bourne PCC and many others, it really is a good opportunity to have a good catch up amongst friends and I look forward to seeing you there.

BANQUET SET MENU (PER PERSON):

- Poppadom and Chutney and Dips

Starters:

- Murgh Chatki and Sheek Kebab (mixed dish of diced Breast Chicken, cooked in a tandoor with a blend of spices with onions, capsicum and roasted tomato and marinated minced lamb with herbs and spices, cooked in a tandoor); OR

- Vegetarian starter - begun bahar and shabzi samosa (baked aubergine with curd cheese, sesame seeds and tomato and sauces)

- Vegetarian starter - shabzi samosas (spiced vegetable samosas)

Main Courses:

- Lamb Roshoni (Chunks of Lamb cooked with a signature sauce of spices and herbs, onions, tomatoes, coriander and roasted garlic); OR

- Chicken Tikka Masala (the nation's favourite - cubes of chicken marinated and cooked in a special creamy masala sauce); OR

- Vegetarian Dish - Matar Paneer Makhni (mild and creamy dish of peas and Indian cheese); OR

- Vegetarian Dish - Vegetable Amri Char (medium spiced curry with pickle)

Accompaniments:- Boiled Rice, plain naan and side dishes of Mixed Vegetable Bhaji and curried mixed vegetables
