South County Outreach’s Beyond the Bowl: A Hillside Farm Celebration

South County Outreach invites the community to experience its signature fundraiser in a vibrant new way at Beyond the Bowl – Setting the Table for Change on Friday, April 17, 2026, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. at Tanaka Farms in Irvine.

Formerly known as Empty Bowls, the newly reimagined Beyond the Bowl reflects the full circle of prevention in action — nourishing families today while working to prevent hunger and homelessness tomorrow. This year, guests will gather at the stunning Tanaka Farms for an unforgettable evening set against rolling hills, golden fields, and spring skies.

The experience is designed to be immersive, festive, and uniquely Orange County. Guests will pick fresh strawberries straight from the fields before being transported by tractor to the hillside celebration. The evening continues with live music from Tijuana Dogs, with guests welcomed by acoustic artist Clif Miller as they arrive. 

Throughout the night, attendees can indulge in a curated lineup of local food trucks, with all food experiences included in the evening’s ticket. Mission Cocktails will also be on site serving a variety of beverages and debuting a brand-new flavor of its signature margarita, crafted with strawberries hand-picked by guests at the event.
