South Asian Connections & Community
About this Event
This is a female-only lunch series for South Asian women aged 15-30, designed to create a warm, welcoming space where we can connect over food, conversation, and community.
The event features a meaningful discussion guided by a psychologist, focusing on personal identity, belonging, and balancing self-choice with family values — topics often unspoken in our culture. Through prompts, activities, and group sharing, you can choose to speak or simply listen and support others in a safe, understanding environment.
Food plays a special role here as a bridge for connection, letting us enjoy a meal while mingling and building community.
The goal? To reduce isolation, encourage honest dialogue, and help everyone leave feeling more understood and connected.
