Join our South Africans in Kansas City Community for the South Africa vs South Korea match on June 24 at 8:00 PM.
This will be Bafana Bafana's last group stage match of the FIFA World Cup and is a great opportunity to connect with our local South Africans in Kansas City Community. 🇿🇦
Location: The watch party will be at Chicken N Pickle in North Kansas City, just north of downtown KC. We’ve reserved the entire rooftop level and private bar exclusively for the group. The private rooftop level has a capacity of about 150 people, and has 15 large TVs located across the space, so there will be plenty of space for everyone who attends.🏟️
Time: Kick-off is at 8:00 AM. Space opens ~7:45 PM.
Note: Chicken N Pickle have a very large event on the rooftop that ends at 7:30 p.m. They want to set expectations that they will be working to clean up the space after that large group party leaves before the start of the match, so please just be aware and patient as their staff will be tidying up the space as fast as possible for our group. They will have the game & sound across the venue, so come as early as you want and we can congregate in the downstairs main bar and/or outdoor game yard area while the tidy up⚽️
We’re looking forward to seeing all of you and cheering on Bafana Bafana in their first World Cup appearance since we hosted the tournament in 2010. 💛💚
In addition to the rooftop level, the game will be on all of the 60+ TVs across the venue, including the large screen in the outdoor game lawn.
Parking: There is ample parking space around Chicken N Pickle, including street parking, so parking won’t be an issue.🚘
