Join us for a hands-on sourdough workshop where you’ll learn how to create delicious, gut-friendly sourdough bread from scratch. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to perfect your skills, this relaxed, interactive session will guide you through every step – from nurturing your starter to shaping and baking your loaf. Sourdough seems complicated but we’ll work on tips of how to simplify the process.
You’ll discover:
✨ How to care for your own sourdough starter
✨ The secrets behind long fermentation and why it’s better for your gut
✨ Practical tips for kneading, shaping, and baking beautiful loaves at home
✨ How to fit sourdough baking into your weekly routine
You’ll take home:
🍞 Your very own active, established starter
🍞 A mixed dough to practice fermenting, shaping and baking at home
🍞 A freshly baked loaf that you have shaped.
🍞 Basic recipe for sourdough loaf
Ingredients and equipment are provided – ‼️𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐞: 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐨𝐰𝐧 𝐛𝐨𝐰𝐥 𝐭𝐨 𝐦𝐢𝐱 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐝𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐢𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐭 𝐡𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐩𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐤 𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠. You can bring an apron if you prefer.
You’ll also be able to enjoy a hot or a soft drink.
