Join me at the NEW SoKno Sourdough bakery location for the Sourdough Focaccia Decorating Workshop: Autumn Harvest. This workshop is a fun and delicious hands-on experience in creating your own sourdough focaccia masterpiece! Think of this workshop like those "Painting with a Twist" events. I take care of the dough, and YOU decorate and bake it with your favorite things!Each ticket includes:
One (1) 13" x 9" pan of bubbly sourdough focaccia dough*
Fruits, vegetables, cheeses, and more to inspire a focaccia unique to you
Option to add 1 or 2 drinks from Hi-Wire Brewing (beer, seltzer, cider, or NA) to enjoy during the workshop
Attendees can flex their creative muscles and decorate their focaccia with whatever ingredients inspire them. We will bake the focaccia in-house at the SoKno Sourdough bakery. Once the bread cools, you can slice into them to taste your delicious creation or take it home...or both! (PRO TIP: Once cooled, focaccia can be frozen and reheated for future consumption, making it the perfect prep for Thanksgiving)
Example of the schedule:
12:00pm - guests arrive and have a chance to grab a drink at the brewery next door and bring it back to the bakery
12:10pm - we go over toppings/ingredients and answer any questions
12:15pm - DECORATE YOUR FOCACCIA
12:45pm - focaccia goes into the oven for 30-45 minutes while we grab another drink and chat amongst ourselves.
2:00pm - focaccia comes out of the oven to cool as the workshop comes to a close and you head out with your delicious bread
While the focaccia is baking, there will be a small sourdough starter feeding demonstration with option to purchase your own sourdough starter and begin your sourdough journey.
Sourdough focaccia is provided by SoKno Sourdough.
Beverages are provided by Hi-Wire Brewing (right next door).
This workshop is perfect for one or two people per ticket, making for a fun friend hang, a unique date, or quality family time.
