Soups & Stocks with Chef Matt Jones

Soup season is upon us! Chef Matt Jones will be joining us in the Maker Kitchen to lead this class on the foundations of soups and stocks. We’ll be making a stock from scratch and learning how to turn that into a delicious soup and a creamy bisque.

When he’s not teaching or supporting our Makers as ANC’s Kitchen and Facilities Coordinator, Chef Matt runs his own food truck, Fifth String Food Truck, serving up tasty handhelds and poutine.

Please be sure to wear comfortable clothes and close-toed shoes for working in the kitchen. Hair that is shoulder-length or longer needs to be tied back. 

Parking is available in the lot on the East side of the center, as well as on the surrounding streets, Kalamazoo, Allen and Shepard.
