This year marks the 10th annual Soup of the Americas Day at Lane Memorial Library! Join us for a full day of food events including a community soup tasting at 12 PM and a historical chocolate presentation and tasting at 11 AM. Vote for your favorite soup and stick around for the award ceremony to see who wins the People's Choice awards.
Registration is NOT required unless you plan on submitting a soup. We always need more people to make soup so please consider submitting your own!
All soup that is submitted must include at least two "New World" ingredients. "New World" ingredients include: Corn, potatoes, cranberries, chocolate, vanilla, maple syrup, pumpkin, chilies, allspice, black beans, and turkey, and more!
REGISTER BY Friday, October 10th. SOUPS MUST ARRIVE BY 11:00 A.M. ON THE MORNING OF THE COMPETITION IN A SLOW COOKER.
