Soup & Sweaters Community Potluck

Bring a soup to share and wear your coziest sweater. An afternoon of local food and good company with the Permaculture Calgary Guild.
About this Event

Come in from the cold and gather around a long table.

After a season of digging, planting and hauling compost, the Permaculture Calgary Guild invites you to an afternoon of shared soup, warm sweaters and neighbours becoming friends. Everyone brings a little, and together we make a feast.

What to bring

• A slow cooker of your favourite homemade soup, stew, chili, chowder or curry
• Or a side to share: bread, buns or dessert
• Hot apple cider or hot cocoa are also welcome additions to the table
• A muffin tin, so you can sample a little of everything

What to expect

• A potluck table full of seasonal, home-cooked food
• A Needs and Yields table for sharing adundance: garden harvest, pickles, seeds, plants, etc. Bring what you have and take home what you need.
• Fun activities to keep the conversations flowing
• A 50/50 draw. Tickets are sold at the event, and proceeds support Guild programming for the year ahead.
• Bring the family, a friend and/or a neighbor. All are welcome.
