In partnership with Brut Hotel and Oklahoma Film + Music Office, The Soundup Club proudly presents "The Soundup Roundup: Gospel Night" - an intimate and inspiring night of Gospel music and storytelling featuring Majeste Pearson, Cydni Reid, and Dan Lee. Join us for a one-of-a-kind songwriter’s round, where the artists share the stories behind their songs and then perform them live. This up-close format gives you a rare peek into the creative process, straight from the voices who lived it.This marks a continuation of Tulsa’s very first songwriter’s series; an intimate showcase of storytelling and song-sharing in true Nashville tradition, now brought home to The Church Studio.
About the Artists:
Majeste Pearson: Majeste, a graduate of the New York Film Academy Performing Arts Conservatory, is the daughter of the late gospel music minister, Bishop Carlton Pearson. With power and poise, she has graced renowned stages around the world, from Broadway to Carnegie Hall, sharing her deep passion for the arts. Most recently, Majeste completed two national tours, including performing background vocals for Stevie Wonder (Fall 2024). From competing on national television to joining the Recording Academy, she continues to pursue purpose and excellence through her artistry. A proud product of the rich arts community in Tulsa, as well as her formative years in New York and Chicago, Majeste credits her mentors, teachers, and community for inspiring and encouraging her to boldly pursue her calling in the arts.
Cydni Reid: CYDNI (Cydni Reid) is an emerging singer-songwriter from San Antonio, Texas, now based in Tulsa, Oklahoma, blending indie Christian and R&B influences into a sound rooted in faith, hope, and authenticity. Her music feels like a conversation—honest, soulful, and full of heart—inviting listeners into real moments of life and faith. Inspired by artists like Madison Ryann Ward and H.E.R., CYDNI writes songs that explore the highs and lows of life, faith, and the peace that can be found in the process.
Dan Lee: Raised just south of Kansas City, Missouri, Dan Lee is a singer-songwriter with a passion for touching hearts through stories of the past and present told through song. Currently serving as part of ORU Worship, he has shared stages with artists and groups such as James River Worship, Naomi Raine, Mitch Wong, and Lindy Cofer. Now, Dan is stepping into a new season of releasing the sounds, songs, and stories the Lord has been writing and storing deep within his heart for years.
