the soundscapes series looks for beauty inside hiss, errors and broken signals. field recordings turn into complex sonic landscapes, and analog video merges with saturated textures. by Richie Herbst & Leszek.the first soundscapes event of the year will feature dense, heavy sound textures by experimental musician Sandro NICOLUSSI. beyond his solo work, he is also known through projects such as bydl and as a member of Drug Searching Dogs. nicolussi is part of Koje together with Angélica Castelló, Stefan Voglsinger and Moritz Morast, and part of the klingt.org collective.
