We can finally let you know that we’re back in the MET Tent for the closing night of this year’s culture and arts programme!
Last year’s Shut Down Party was our very first concert and, along with the special guest performers, it turned into a wonderful night; full of music, friendly faces and a warm, fun, community feel good atmosphere. This year we’re doing it all again. Over the last 12 months we’ve grown in number and spent the year upskilling, and we’ll be bringing you fresh talent and a new set that showcases everything we’ve been working on since you last saw us.
Alongside our own performers, you’ll be entertained by fantastic, well established acts from the North West music scene: Tegan Hughes, Cat Holden, Checkin Out, and even a burlesque dance performance to add a bit of glamour to the night.
It’s all part of the MET (Mobile Event Tent) programme, bringing arts and culture right into the heart of Preston. We’re proud to be hosting the final evening once again.
Come along, bring your mates, and help us close the MET with a proper community celebration.
