HATCHBACK began with a couple close friends that shared love for honest, unpolished music followed them north to Ketchikan, Alaska, where the wild landscapes pushed them to strip their sound down to its core. Somewhere between the rain, and the salt air, they found the raw edge that would become the heartbeat of their music.
Their music feels like a late-night conversation, a road trip through memory, or the ache of a place you can’t quite get back to. Blending acoustic intimacy, layered harmonies, and a raw, honest energy, HATCHBACK creates songs that resonate with listeners who crave depth, movement, and meaning.
Since returning to Utah, they’ve played across the state and neighboring regions, steadily building a local following through live shows that feel personal and grounded. Whether on stage or in the studio, HATCHBACK plays with the kind of presence and sincerity that stays with you long after the show is over. All in all, HATCHBACK plays mountain music for the city folks.
