In today's world, funding for the arts, particularly performing arts, is facing a steady decline. Founded in November 2008 with a clear mission: to enrich lives through singing and the support of music education. This dedicated group, comprised of volunteer singers performing in an a cappella ensemble, goes beyond simply entertaining audiences.

Master classes on the art of a cappella singing, vocal performance clinics, and engaging public and private performances. From self-produced concerts to community outreach programs, the Nashville Singers have touched the lives of over 50,000 people since 2009. Their performances span a wide range of venues, reaching students at schools (public, private, and homeschool), universities, senior centers, retirement homes, and even corporate events. This exposure to live music fosters a love for the arts and its power to uplift.
But their impact goes even deeper. Since 2011, The Nashville Singers have awarded over $20,000 in music education grants and scholarships, directly impacting hundreds of students in Middle Tennessee and beyond. This financial support ensures that financial limitations don't hinder a student's passion for music.
The organization goes one step further, recognizing the vital role educators play. Each year, they present the prestigious Carol Crittenden Arts Advocate of the Year Award, honoring an outstanding music educator for their dedication to fostering a love of music in their students.
