Slim S.O.U.L
Slim S.O.U.L is an award-winning hip-hop artist, producer, and poet, recognized as the 2024 CPMA Hip Hop Act and Producer of the Year. Based in Charleston, SC, Slim S.O.U.L blends smooth '90s boom bap with soulful, funk-infused samples, creating an unforgettable live experience that resonates with audiences across genres.
Now gearing up for the release of his highly anticipated solo album, "S.O.U.L (Sounds of Universal Love)," Slim S.O.U.L is taking his artistry to new heights. The album weaves together vibrant storytelling, soulful melodies, and intricate production, drawing comparisons to the boundary-pushing creativity of Childish Gambino, the live instrumentation and groove of The Roots, and the timeless lyricism of A Tribe Called Quest.
Whether performing solo with his MPC and keyboard or leading a full band, Slim S.O.U.L delivers a dynamic and immersive set that bridges the gap between old-school hip-hop and modern soul. His performances have captivated crowds while sharing stages with acclaimed artists such as KRS-ONE, Masta Killa (of Wu-Tang Clan), Asher Roth, Little Stranger, Shwayze, Toni Romiti, Susto, The Pyscodelics, Stop Light Observations, and Little Bird.
As the founder of Soul Power Productions, Slim S.O.U.L is deeply rooted in fostering community and creativity, organizing pop-up shows and workshops that inspire collaboration and artistry. With a track record of electrifying performances and a passion for connecting with audiences, Slim S.O.U.L is ready to bring his unique sound and energy to new stages beyond Charleston..
