Come on down to the Benjamin L. Hooks Central library on Wednesday, June 17th from 1-2 pm for a performance by local jazz instrumentalist and electronic composer, Shelby Edwards.
Originally from Memphis, his work draws from a wide range of influences, combining them into a cohesive and personal approach to music.
For this performance, he will present a selection of jazz standards, focusing on improvisation and reinterpretation within the tradition. He has over a decade of experience teaching music.
