Sounds From the Gallery: Sons of Mercury

Sounds From the Gallery is a free concert series hosted by Culture Lab LIC inside its front art gallery. This unique event combines live music performances with the vibrant atmosphere of the gallery’s art exhibitions, creating an intimate and immersive cultural experience. Audiences can enjoy diverse musical genres while surrounded by contemporary artwork, making it a perfect fusion of art and sound.

Who are Sons of Mercury?

Sons of Mercury is a fresh, strong-energy band that blends classic and new rock, playing covers ranging from the 1970’s all the way to the present, along with their new, emerging originals. Started by three NYC boys (on bass, drums, and guitar) with an added touch of singing Cali vocals, Sons of Mercury bring both a new yet nostalgic sound to the live music scene.

Galen James-Heskett on lead vocals, Sean Pagán on lead guitar, Michael Bode on bass and back-up vocals, and Devan Sáez on drums.
