SOUNDCHECK: The Joeys

On June 18 at 6 pm, SOUNDCHECK welcomes The Joeys, a three-piece rock n’ roll outfit from Phoenix, Arizona. Dean Cheney, Logan Cormany, and Hayden Lamm began performing together in 2019 and have since become a staple of the local music scene, regularly appearing at clubs and festival lineups across the Southwest. Known for their high-energy performances, The Joeys have opened for acts such as The Black Lips, 10cc, and The Meteors, and were voted “Best Band” in Phoenix Magazine’s 2025 “Best of the Valley” issue. They also won the Proof is in the Pudding competition in 2019, one of Arizona’s most prominent music showcases, and have shared the stage with Alice Cooper at his annual Christmas show.
Drawing from a wide range of influences including The Stray Cats, The Doors, the Everly Brothers, and X, The Joeys blend classic rock and roll sensibilities with a distinctive Southwestern edge. Their live shows are known for being loud, dynamic, and unpredictable in the best way.
