Performed by Portland Municipal Organist James Kennerley on the iconic Kotzschmar Organ, this bold season opener combines music, lighting, staging, and projections for a truly multi-sensory journey.
From Mendelssohn and Rimsky-Korsakov to Debussy, Philip Glass, and even Hans Zimmer and Klaus Badelt’s Pirates of the Caribbean, the program flows through calm reflection, wild fantasy, and sweeping cinematic drama.
