Generation Church will be showing the movie Sound of Hope at the Rex Theatre!
Doors open: 3:30pm

Our desire is to draw attention and hearts to the foster world and children in our city. This event will highlight Northwest Florida Guardian Ad Litem Foundation. Every foster child in Florida receives a court ordered advocate to represent their best interest as they navigate through the dependency system. The Florida Guardian ad Litem office is comprised of employed Child Advocate Managers, Attorney’s and Volunteer Advocates. All of whom are adults from your local community. These individuals are a consistent and positive presence in the child’s life.
“Hope for the Holidays” Angel Tree is a holiday assistance program in which an individual (or group) sponsors a child by purchasing gifts to bring joy on Christmas morning. Angel Tree sponsorship sign up will be available before and after the showing. A custom ornament with a child’s name and wishlist will be sent home with you to be placed on your Christmas tree.
Our hope is that through this movie showing, our church and our city will choose to purchase a Christmas gift(s) for a specific child or children. At the event there will be names of children to choose from. Our prayer is that there won't be a single child left!
ALL proceeds go to a fund to purchase gifts for children. Generation Church, along with The Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation want to strive to make sure EVERY CHILD has a gift to open on Christmas Day no matter when they enter care. Your admission fee will help ensure that they can provide just that.
*There will be popcorn and soda for purchase at the event!
