About this Event

" There's no organ system in the body that's not affected by sound, music and vibration. You can look at disease as a form of disharmony." - Dr. Mitchell Gaynor

ABOUT

Sound Journey with Kris is a 60-minute immersive, meditative experience combining the therapeutic benefits of meditation, breathwork, and sound to relax, rejuvenate and realign the physical, mental, and energetic bodies back into harmony.

Do not worry if you are new to meditation and sound baths. Meditation comes in various forms (suitable for all ages and types), and sound penetrates our bodies with impactful frequencies simply just by listening to it. Sound baths, which combine meditation with the power of sound and vibration, are known to help reduce stress and anxiety, encourage relaxation and feelings of well-being, help release emotional blockages, uplift mood, boost energy levels, and even promote restful sleep.

WHO MAY ATTEND

18 years and older are welcome; no experience required.

Sound baths are known to be detoxifying and high in frequencies; therefore, they are typically not recommended for people with a history of the following, but not limited to, pacemakers, use of major medications, mental illness, seizure disorders, aneurysms, cardiovascular disease, or significant recent physical injuries, surgery, or current pregnancy. Should you have any questions or concerns regarding a medical condition or treatment, I encourage you to consult with your primary care physician or other qualified health care provider prior to participating in this event.

THE EXPERIENCE

This sound bath experience will last for a duration of 60-minutes – 20 minutes of meditation and breathwork to prepare the mind and body for receiving the healing resonances followed by a 40-minute sound bath utilizing tools such as crystal quartz singing bowls, chimes, tingshas, shakers, a gong, and drums. ** Please note that although the sound bath is geared towards producing gentle, harmonious resonances, parts of the session may involve sound tools that give off very high or very low-pitched sounds. If you are particularly sensitive to sound, it may be best to position yourself furthest away from the instruments. **

Everyone reacts differently to sound baths (during and after); all experiences are unique and incomparable. You may experience a rollercoaster of emotions, intensified sensations, a deep meditative state, dream-like awareness, fall asleep, or even nothing at all. Anything you experience during and after this session is appropriate for you.

Understand that regardless of your experience, the sound bath will allow vibrations to travel throughout your body and help you resonate to those healing frequencies. So, lose the expectations, let go and get ready to experience a collective, transformative journey through sound. I look forward to our time together!

TICKETS

Tickets are only available on Eventbrite and will not be sold at the door. All sales are final. No refunds, exchanges, or make-up sessions. If you are unable to attend the event, you may share your ticket with another person. Tickets are available for purchase until start time of event (or sell out).

HOW TO PREPARE (RECOMMENDATIONS)

Wear comfortable, non-restrictive clothing.

Hydrate well; sound travels best through mediums such as water. It may also be best to eat something light an hour or so before attending; this may prevent any distractions of hunger or discomfort from arising while participating in the sound event.

Bring a yoga mat for sitting/lying down, and optionally, you may also bring a pillow, blanket, warm socks, an eye mask/cloth to cover eyes (blocking out external stimuli), crystals/good luck charms, and/or a journal & pen.

Come with an open heart and leave expectations behind; sound healing works best when we are most receptive and present in the here and now, allowing the experience to unfold as it is.
