SOUND IS SANCTUARY Sound & Sacred Space Workshop

There is a quiet calling many of us feel —
a desire to hold space, to offer something gentle and restorative in a world that feels increasingly stretched.

But holding space is a responsibility.

Sound Is Sanctuary is a 3–4 hour immersive, embodied workshop for those who feel drawn to working with sound — but want to explore it safely, ethically and with integrity.

This is not about performance.
It is not about certification.
It is not about “becoming a healer” in an afternoon.

It is about understanding the foundations that make sound work safe.

Rooted in my work as a Soul Midwife, qualified Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master Teacher, Sound Healing Practitioner, and trauma-aware therapeutic practitioner supporting children and young people, this workshop is grounded in lived experience, nervous system awareness and ethical facilitation.

Together we will explore:

• How sound affects the nervous system
• The foundations of trauma-informed space holding
• Ethical and responsible facilitation
• Hands-on exploration of sound healing instruments
• Listening, pacing and embodied presence
