Sound Healing Meditation
About this Event
Sound Healing Meditation
Most of us are running on empty... depleted in a way that rest alone doesn't touch. Nervous systems stuck in overdrive and bodies that have forgotten what it feels like to fully let go.
This is what sound healing is designed to address.
When the body is exposed to specific sound frequencies (produced live through crystal singing bowls, gong, drum, chimes, and more) something measurable happens. Brainwaves begin to slow, shifting from the alert beta state of everyday life down into alpha and theta, the states associated with deep meditation, accelerated healing, and nervous system restoration. This is not relaxation as a side effect. It is a direct, physiological response to sound.
For one hour, you don't have to do anything. You lie down, close your eyes, and let the sound work. The body knows how to heal when it's finally given the conditions to do so.
What to Bring
This is your invitation to show up as your most comfortable self. Please bring:
- Yoga mat — your base for the session
- Your favourite pillow — comfort matters
- Eye mask — to drop in fully and block out the light
- Warm socks — the body cools as it relaxes
- Cosy clothing — think sweatpants, loungewear, or even pyjamas
The more comfortable you are, the deeper you can go.
Timings: Please Read Carefully
Getting the timings right means everyone gets the full experience. Please read this before you book.
- Doors open: 6:30pm
- Doors close and lock: 6:45pm
- Session ends: 7:45pm
Please do not arrive before 6:30pm. The space is being prepared right up until doors open, and arriving early disrupts the setup.
Late arrivals cannot be admitted. Once the doors are locked at 6:45pm, I am unable to come to the door doing so would break the sound and disturb everyone already settled. Please plan your journey accordingly.
The session closes promptly at 7:45pm. Please allow yourself time to gather your things and make your way out by 8:00pm, as the hall must be cleared. There will be time to reconnect with the experience in the days that follow more on that in the FAQs.
Parking
Bledlow Village Hall is easy to find. Turn in off the main road and the hall will be on your right. Drive forward approximately 100 metres and you'll enter the car park.
Important: Phone signal is very poor in the car park and inside the hall. Please make sure you have directions loaded before you arrive, and let anyone who may need to contact you know you'll be offline for the evening.
About your host:
Elizabeth O'Neill is a Functional Health Practitioner specialising in root cause healing, gut health, paediatrics, and PANDAS, a Kundalini Yoga Teacher, and a Sound Healing Practitioner with seven years of experience.
Her path into deep healing work began when she was diagnosed with stage 3 cancer and chose to take a natural, integrative approach to healing. That journey took her through years of serious study and personal transformation and it is the foundation of everything she brings to her work today.
Elizabeth also holds training in Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis (HTMA), Reiki, and Crystal Healing. Her sound baths are known for being unusually deep — held with intention, care, and the understanding that the body already knows how to heal when given the right conditions.
She is based locally and is building a rooted, genuine community around this work one session at a time.
