Join certified yoga instructor and sound meditation facilitator Jack for a special sound healing class with a focus on stress management and relief. Sound healing is an ancient practice that uses sound waves at frequencies designed to penetrate the body and help to alleviate the symptoms of stress and anxiety.
A gentle warm-up is followed by guided breath work with transitions to an extended savasana with sound. Focus on mental and physical wellbeing with this session incorporating sound bowls, gongs, chimes, tuning forks, and various percussion instruments. Mats (or chairs), blocks, and bolsters will be provided. Please bring blankets or sweaters or any other desired items for personal comfort. No yoga or meditation experience is necessary to experience Sound Therapy.
