What Makes This Training Different
This is not your average weekend sound bath training. Our certification has evolved to reflect the highest professional standards in the field, expanding from a 20-hour format to a 30-hour accredited training that blends:

16 hours of in-person learning at Soul Strong Yoga +4 hours of asynchronous pre-work in our private online learning portal to earn your Certified Sound Healer certification

10 optional hours of advanced online education in sound healing and the business of sound healing to receive Yoga Alliance CEUs and register with the Complementary Medical Association (CMA)
By completing this advanced 10-hour module, you’ll earn continuing education credit and professional registration — at no additional tuition increase.

We’ve expanded the Seasons of Sound program to offer even greater depth, resources, and professional recognition while keeping it accessible to our community.
About the Practice
Sound Healing is a meditative practice that utilizes instruments such as crystal singing bowls, gongs, and chimes to promote deep relaxation, stress relief, and energetic balance.

The intentional use of vibration helps move stagnant energy, supports the nervous system, and activates the body’s natural healing response.

Our training is designed to help you understand the energetic, scientific, and practical foundations of sound healing while building the confidence to lead private sessions, group sound baths, or integrate sound into your existing teaching or healing practice.

This training is often imitated and never duplicated — built from decades of combined teaching experience and a genuine love for helping others harness the transformative power of sound.

Julie is a gong therapist, mindfulness teacher, and co-founder of Soul Strong Yoga. With a Master’s in Teaching and a background in professional development, she brings a grounded, accessible approach to sound healing education. Julie’s teachings are rooted in yogic and Buddhist philosophy, emphasizing compassion, accessibility, and the power of vibration to support healing.

Jessica Cross

Jessica is the founder of Sound for Stress, a wellness brand dedicated to helping stressed souls reconnect through sound, yoga, and meditation. Her programs empower new sound healers with practical tools and a professional-level understanding of sound as a therapeutic art.
