About this Event
Monday, August 8 - Friday, August 11 | 9AM - 4PM
In this fun and hands-on workshop, teens will create a soundtrack from scratch for an existing short, animated video using the AVID Pro Tools Media Composer software. In daily exercises, the teens will engage in audio projects and create the soundtrack by gathering sounds from many different sources (recorded on location, in the studio, or found on the web). They’ll upload and edit the sounds, design the soundtrack and finally mix them with music. Students will learn basic mixing techniques, which will also help them for their music recordings and music production work.
We have a refrigerator for participants to store their lunches. We will also provide water and snacks. The workshop is capped at 10 students.
The safety of students and staff remains the top priority for Docs In Progress. Docs In Progress follows the safety measures of the MCPS guidelines.
