About this Event
Autumn reminds us of the cycles of letting go that are an inherent part of life. October brings shorter days, crisp air, and a natural turning inward. This sound bath facilitated by Toronto's original sound bath band is designed to support healing and resilience during this time of transition.
Through layers of vibration - from quartz crystal bowls to shruti, didgeridoo and tuning forks to the power of harmonized voices - you are invited to rest deeply and reflect. This immersive experience will create space to release what no longer serves, restore balance in body and mind, and connect with the steadiness that lives within.
As the world shifts around us, this sanctuary of sound will help you to pause, breathe, and cultivate resilience for the season ahead.

> What is a Sound Bath?
Sound baths are a simple exercise in deep listening which lower stress. During a sound bath session, sound therapy practitioners intentionally combine vibrations from instruments and objects that resonate such as crystal quartz singing bowls, metal singing bowls, voice, drums, tuning forks, gongs, shakers, bells and chimes to administer memorable and soothing soundscapes to relax the mind and body.
> What to expect at our Sound Bath?
We will be playing for approximately one hour. Simply lie or sit down and allow yourself to be immersed in healing sounds and vibration. During a sound bath, you may experience physical sensations or emotional releases. You may journey into a state of deep self-inquiry. You may fall asleep, or you may not. No prior experience with meditation is required to benefit!
> What to Bring:
Please bring whatever you need to feel most comfortable while lying or sitting down, such as your own yoga mat, eye mask, pillow, water bottle, and blanket. There are limited yoga mats, blankets and bolsters available at the studio.
