This intimate bi-monthly gathering is part of a seasonal series inspired by the 24 Jeolgi of Korean medicine, a traditional system that divides the year into 24 phases and offers guidance on how we eat, rest, and care for the body to prevent imbalance before it arises.

Our next session is focused on Mangjong (망종), “Grain in Ear,”which refers to the stage when grains begin maturing and must be harvested and planted quickly before the peak summer heat arrives. It is typically observed around June 5 to June 20 and reflects a season of increased activity, urgency, and rapid growth.

In traditional East Asian medicine, this is a time when yang energy rises quickly and the body becomes more stimulated by heat, activity, and mental pressure. During this seasonal shift, people may notice irritability, restlessness, tension, mental overwhelm, disrupted sleep, or feeling emotionally and physically overextended.

Participants will receive individualized ear seeding, followed by a 45-minute sound bath meditation designed to calm the nervous system, restore energy, and encourage deep rest. Infrared light therapy will be used to support warmth and relaxation. A seasonal herbal tea will be served afterward to gently reawaken the body and support nourishment from within.

Mild, optional movement and guided settling may be offered. This gathering is intentionally slow, quiet, and restorative.

Attendance is limited to 7 participants to ensure a personalized and supportive experience.
$80 per person

Please arrive between 5:30–5:45 PM, as the building and elevator close promptly at 6:00 PM. Late entry will not be possible.

• This event is generally gentle and restorative, but if you are pregnant, highly sensitive to sound, light, or touch, or have specific health concerns, please consider your comfort and consult your care provider if needed.
• Ear seeding is optional and can be modified or skipped.
• Sound levels are intended to be soothing, but you are welcome to bring earplugs or step out if needed.
• Infrared light will be present; please let the facilitator know if you prefer reduced exposure.
