In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, the Neighbors Church Wellbeing Committee will be hosting a relaxing, self-care activity. The activity will take place at the church (575 Fallbrook Blvd #102, Lincoln, NE 68521) Sunday, May 5, at 12:30pm. We will be treated to a Sound Bath, facilitated by Marie de Martineze who is a Vibrational Sound Therapist.
A sound bath is a meditative experience where those in attendance are “bathed” in sound waves. These waves are produced by various sources, including healing instruments such as gongs, singing bowls, percussion, chimes, rattles, and even the human voice itself. To participate, all you need to do is come to church, you can sit in a chair or lay on the ground and allow the sound to relax you.
