Soultrè Presents celebrates National Black Theatre Day with an evening rooted in community, conversation and the continued legacy of Black theatre. Gather with us at Alice’s Garden for a community potluck, libation, a dynamic panel discussion and fellowship, live performances, culminating in an intimate live rehearsal preview of Lynn Nottage’s Clyde’s.

This Is a Community Table

Please bring something to contribute to the meal. Whether it is a favorite dish, dessert, snack, fruit, or another treat to share, we want everyone to help build the table. It does not have to be elaborate. Just bring something with you to add to the gathering.

Please bring a reusable water bottle only. In the spirit of gathering responsibly in the garden, we ask guests to skip disposable water bottles.

And don’t forget your lawn chair! We’ll be gathering outdoors in the garden, so bring a chair, get comfortable, and settle in with the community.

Artists, We Want to Hear From You

This gathering is also an open space for creative expression. If you are interested in sharing a monologue, song, spoken word piece, poetry, visual art, or another artistic medium, we would love to hear from you.
