Kirtan is a form of meditation done through call-and-response chanting. One person sings a simple Sanskrit mantra, and everyone else repeats it back. There's usually harmonium, percussion, and sometimes other instruments. You don't need to know the language or be able to sing.

We gather regularly in Bournemouth to chant these ancient mantras together. Some people close their eyes and sing along, others sit quietly and listen. The practice is in the repetition and the presence.

No experience necessary, just come as you are.

Afterwards, we share a vegan friendly dinner.
