Feeling disconnected and flooded with every other thing?
On this re-treat day we will honor the earth that is your body and honor the earth that we walk upon. Slowly we shall actively silence the swirl to discover what is authentically below your threshold of awareness. Imagine elemental movement returning the spark to you!
Consider exploring the healing power of nature, self and community connection. Reconnect, restore, and align with your sense of self in this inspiring supportive retreat. The Foundation of Light day retreats are a multidisciplinary approach for you to feel supported in a safe space. This workshop will return you to your relationship with the earth and well-being practices during these uncertain times.
Retreat facilitator Carol S. James, yoga therapist, body worker and healer will guide you through a full day retreat including:
* Connection to the communication that is inherent in the wisdom of your body systems and elevate those experiences so that we can reside in our sanctuary.
* Settling into yourself to meditate, journal, sketch and reveal the light and the shadow that gives us the depth of how we see.
* Through the elementary practices of fire building and choosing a sit spot with the earth, we shall honor the continuity of our internal and external awareness.
* Movement to unlock vibrant energy and cultivate awareness in your body.
* Enjoy the sharing of sacred space of community and group discussion to nurture our unity with all beings.
* Acknowledge that your vessel can change with intention and expand with awareness.

Facilitator:
Carol S. James is inspired by transformation. Her understanding of the interweave of earth and our bodies underpins how she communicates and thinks about how our bodies function and relate so that we can fully inhabit the magnificence that is the soft flesh of our being. She is certified by both the International Association of Yoga Therapist and Phoenix Rising Yoga Therapy. She is a Niasziih healer through wildernessFusion after 7 years of study, which included 3 years of hands-on clinic. Carol is a bodywork teacher and collaborator for curriculum for years 1-3 of wildernessFusion bodywork program.

$150 - Early Bird price (available through March 15th).
$175 - Full Price (after March 15th)
Pre-registration is required. A $75 deposit is required to hold your place, or you can pay in full.

Details/What to Bring:
Hot and cold beverages, snacks, and a vegan, gluten-free lunch are provided. Please bring any other food items you might like to have on hand.
Bring indoor shoes, slippers, or thick socks to stay cozy and keep the floors dry.
Bring weather-appropriate outdoor gear, as we will spend some time outside.
